The Team
Jonathan Bailey
At five years old Jono started sailing on North Lake in Wisconsin, this kicked off a never ending love for speed, competition, and sailing that has never faded.
At 16, Jono transitioned to sailing on Pewaukee Lake, which led him to competing at the highest levels of one-design racing and collegiate sailing. Jono’s diverse experience includes racing at Match Race Nationals, Coed Nationals, Team Race Nationals, and Singlehanded Nationals.
Jono’s wide range of sailing has sharpened him into a skilled and highly competitive sailor. Winning the Top Youth title at the 2024 E Scow National Championship.
Declan Donovan
Born and raised in San Francisco, Declan has spent a lot of time on the wire. Sailing the C420 on the St. Francis YC race team before transitioning to the Nacra 15 sailing out of Richmond YC.
High performance sailing continued to call him, and the infamously windy and choppy SF bay provided him the perfect environment to start sailing the 49er during his last years of high school.
Declan, an Atmospheric Physics major, was the first College of Charleston Main Trimmer/Tactician to win the Shields Trophy.
